The recommended ways of using Cornell email are:

For Cornell Office 365 mail, any Outlook-branded app or Apple Mail for macOS.
For Cornell G Suite, using the web interface at gsuite.cornell.edu.

If you choose to use an app other than Outlook or Apple Mail for macOS with Cornell Office 365, using one that connects using the Exchange protocol (Apple and Google products have this option) will be less likely to produce unexpected behavior.

On the home screen, touch Settings.
For newer versions of iOS: Search for Accounts.

Select the account you want to edit, then choose the Outgoing Mail Server for it.
